We are a family-owned venture passionate about bringing joy, smiles, and refreshments to every event. Founded in July 2024 by Ken and Tammy Amen, our journey started with a simple fundraiser – selling shaved ice to support our children’s baseball teams.

Everyone, from kids to adults, loved the treats and kept coming back for more. We were also moved by how much our shaved ice added fun and excitement to the event. That’s when we decided to start Snow Slingers, a shaved ice company dedicated to making events sweeter and more memorable.

Ever since then, we’ve spent hundreds of hours perfecting our desserts and creating delicious, one-of-a-kind flavors like Huckleberry and Plain Jane Lemonade – bringing even more joy to shaved ice lovers.

Based in Missoula, Montana, we operate out of a charming food trailer, serving delicious shaved ice to children and young adults at both public and private events in Western Montana and surrounding areas.

We are certified by the health department, and our services are fully insured. We also adhere to the highest health and safety standards. What’s more, we pride ourselves as one of the few shaved ice catering companies offering all-natural, sugar-free desserts.

At Snow Slingers, family is at the heart of everything we do. We are a parent of three adopted children who have spent the past 18 years as foster parents, sports enthusiasts, and dedicated members of the adoption community.
